Sausage and bacon, what a made in heaven combination.
I combined it with eggplant, marinara sauce and mozzarella to create a keto version of Cannelloni.
Cannelloni was a very present dish during my childhood. Generally with ground meat, or chicken, lots of Béchamel sauce, lots of tomato sauce.
However, finding a good keto pasta recipe for cannellonis is an impossible task.
So, should we never eat it again? Well in the traditional version, there is no way it is keto or even low carb.
But, adapting the recipe to a keto dish is as you can see doable and makes a fantastic dish, trust me. I never post a recipe that I did not try myself first and found it good.
This keto cannelloni recipe is comfort food and so so delicious. And it is easy and freezable, so you can prepare it in advance, freeze and bake it later when you’re ready to eat, or even bake it and freeze.
