Delicious and Easy Seed and Nuts LCHF Bread

I have tweaked a lot my perfect bread recipe the famous ketostatic bread that got so many amazing reviews. I did turn it into several different breads, both savory and sweet, all based in that same recipe. Why changing it completely if it was such a huge success right? Right, BUT that is me. Always looking for perfection (it is a curse I know), and always looking to improve what I already considered good (all my recipes are well-tested before being published). So here it is, my new recipe, full of goodness and health, low in carbs, and absolutely delicious. Give it a , let me know. Enjoy and be happy!

This bread recipe will for sure make you smile. Try it toasted for extra crunchiness, with butter, and a good cup of coffee. It is special, it is healthy, it is yummy.

Nutrition per portion

Ingredients
  • 6 tbsp almond flour
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tbsp egg white protein powder (you can skip it but the texture will be slightly different
  • 2 tbsp psyllium husk powder/fibre
  • 1/2 cup macadamia nut butter (or any seed/nut butter you like)
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tbsp gluten free baking powder
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp pumkin seeds
  • 1 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp fennel seeds (optional)

  • 2 tbsp chopped Brasil nuts (or any other nut)
  • salt to taste
  • Extra seeds for topping
Method
  • Pre heat the oven to 170ºC
  • Grease a bread loaf (I used a small one app 20cm in length
  • In a bowl put the eggs with salt
  • In another bowl put all dry ingredients and whisk it making sure there are no lumps in the mix
  • Beat the eggs on high-speed until doubled in volume and fluffy
  • Add the macadamia nut butter and beat well
  • Add the dry ingredients in two batches beating between additions
  • Put into the loaf pan, sprinkle with additional seeds
  • Bake for 40 to 50 minutes
  • Let it cool down for 5 minutes, put on a wire rack and let it cool completely before slicing (quite difficult as it smells divine)
  • Enjoy, and be happy!

OMGoodness! This loaf is delicious. I just wish I could send you some of my special butter to try with the bread – a marriage made in heaven. Thank you and thanks to those Montbeliarde cows; I could eat the whole loaf slathered with that butter 🙂
