Green sauce – Molho verde

Green sauce, a tease to your taste buds

A really fresh and taste bud tantalizing sauce that gives a nice touch to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of fresh herbs – parsley, oregano, coriander, mint
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup of apple cider vinegar
  • Cayenne pepper to taste
  • Coarse sea salt to taste

 

Directions

  • Wash the herbs and finely chop using a food processor or a knife
  • Mince the garlic cloves
  • Blend the herbs, olive oil, vinegar and spices until you get the desired texture (I prefer mine coarser)
  • Leave it at room temperature for a couple of days to develop the flavours
  • Store in the fridge

 

Molho verde - desafiando o paladar

Um molho que vai bem com qualquer corte de carne ou peixe. Aromático e com um toque ácido que desafia o paladar a querer mais

Ingredientes

  • 2 xícaras de ervas verdes frescas – salsinha, orégano, coentro, hortelã
  • 4 dentes de alho amassados
  • 2/3 de xícara de azeite de oliva extra-virgem
  • 1/4 de xícara de vinagre de maçã
  • Pimenta caiena a gosto
  • Sal a gosto 

Preparo

  • Lavar as ervas frescas e picar (eu uso o processador). Descascar e amassar os alhos.
  • Colocar as ervas, alho e temperos no liquidificador
  • Adicionar o vinagre e o azeite de oliva e liquidificar alguns segundos
  • Deixar fora da geladeira por um a dois dias para desenvolver os sabores
  • Guardar na geladeira
